Protected Designation of Origin

Traditionally made single vineyard wine, coming from a volcanic site: winemaker Szabó Gyula’s Töltés vineyard on the Fekete Hill. After hand harvesting ripe and healthy fruit middle September, the free-run juice was fermented in three 500 liter and one 400 liter oak barrels over two months, remaining in barrel after fermentation for another 6 months.
